What Magdir does
Magdir is a magnetic components directory and technical research resource for engineers, procurement teams, and manufacturers. It brings together supplier profiles, inductor datasheets, searchable specifications, and engineering calculators.
Use the directory to build a shortlist and investigate specifications. Magdir does not sell or ship the listed components. Contact the relevant manufacturer or distributor for samples, availability, pricing, certification evidence, and purchasing.
Maintenance and contact
Magdir is independently operated by SHENZHEN YWO ELECTRONICS CO.,LTD, which is responsible for website development, organizing magnetic component information, and maintaining the engineering tools. The public support contact is [email protected]. Use this address for listing updates, account assistance, billing questions, privacy requests, and technical data corrections.
The names and capabilities on supplier profiles describe the listed businesses. Inclusion in the directory does not establish a partnership, manufacturer authorization, certification, or endorsement.
Technical information and its limits
Directory and datasheet records are compiled from manufacturer documentation, component catalog information, and submitted listing information. Imported fields and explanatory text may be normalized or produced with automated assistance. The availability of a PDF or an update date does not mean every field has been independently verified.
A record update date describes maintenance of the Magdir record; it is not necessarily the revision date of the manufacturer's document. Use the original manufacturer's current documentation as the authority for test conditions and specifications.
Calculators provide preliminary estimates under the formulas and assumptions stated on each tool. Similar nominal specifications do not establish interchangeable parts. Check footprints, DC bias, temperature behavior, current definitions, and actual circuit performance before approving a component.
Corrections and commercial services
To report an error, email the page URL, part number or company name, the disputed field, and a supporting manufacturer document where available. We can assess the report against the available evidence; a correction request does not itself establish that a record is accurate or verified.
Magdir offers paid directory placement, sponsored advertising, and separately agreed enterprise services. Paid placement concerns visibility, not technical qualification. Advertising and any active affiliate links are commercial relationships; they do not demonstrate component suitability.
